Since 2004, the Dubai Wildlife Protection Office in partnership with the Dubai Falcon Hospital and the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory has released 1’812 turtles to the sea of the UAE tanks to this program that is lead.

Since the 1990s, it has been working to reintroduce these monkeys into their natural habitat after they were taken from the wild and exploited in tourist circuits to satisfy the demand for souvenir photos – a practice that is now punishable by fines.
